I created this layout featuring "Once Upon A Halloween" collection
which is absolutely amazing and as you can see so versatile.
I chose an everyday photo of my kids and simply incorporated it
with those beautiful pattern papers from the collection.
Don`t you just love those cute cameos?
I featured those stunning cameos on my page.
I made one of them part of my title
"Keep Calm and Scrap On Our Memories"...
a message from my kids to me ;-)
And this is what I do....and I Love it!
I love scrapbooking!
We all scrapbook because we want to preserve our memories
- children, wedding, birthdays, holidays, vacations, funny moments, etc.
And as everybody else this is also my primary aim - to keep
the memories of our family in a different way... in a creative way.
The truth is that through the years my motivation to scrapbook changed.
In the beginning I wanted only to show as many photos as possible on a page....
you could hardly see any pattern papers :-)
Nowadays I`m completely concentrated on the photo I`m showcasing
(rarely multi photos layout) and the products I`m working with.
My motivation to scrap is the creative aspect of scrapbooking.
Have you ever asked yourself what kind of scrapbooker you are?
I know people scrapbook, for example, because of the journaling.
For me it's really the photo and the products that motivate me.
I spend a lot of time to "build" my page and I admit that
the whole creative process keeps me calm, peaceful and relaxed.
I`m a patient crafter and love to take my time to finish a layout.
The drop flower trim was initially green but I painted it so it`d match the cameo.
The trim with the gorgeous large circles was treated differently :-)
I cut out all the circles so I can incorporate them with my
fussy cut flourishes. I placed dazzle me gems in the centres.
The rest of the trim was placed behind the grid
which I cut out of "Haunted House" pp.
