This very moment ~The Scrap Cake~

Hi there!
Today I`m sharing with you my last layout for 2011 that I created for The Scrap Cake.
I used the gorgeous versatile collection "Cozy Xmas" which I love to use not only for winter/Christmas photos but also for everyday photos - like this one of my son Alexander which was taken in an amusement park.
  • What I mainly did while making this page was to distress and stamp.
  • I used cling stamps from Prima Marketing (#551094). I colored the stamped patterns in.
  • I embellished my project with lots of cut-outs from the pattern paper.

  • Some of the stamping was done directly on the pattern paper. I also stamped separately on a piece of pattern paper and then cut it out to give more dimension to my layout.
  • The bird is a rub-on from My Mind`s Eye.
  • The Birdcage was cut with the help of a Cricut machine.

  • The little stars are made of wood. I colored them the with Copic Markers.

Hope you enjoyed my post!
Have a great day!

Christmas 2010 ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi There!
I`m sharing with you a layout I made some time ago using beautiful papers and embellies from Webster`s Pages. I didn`t make a round layout for a long time and I thought it`s high time to create one.
As a base of my layout I used the Diecut paper from the "Botanical Christmas" collection

  • I couldn`t go without a little bit of masking ;-)

Hope you enjoyed my post today!
Happy Holidays & keep on smiling :-)

I adore you both ~TCR #90~

Hi there!
Just before Christmas I have a layout to share with all of you. This is the beautiful color palette #90 at The Color Room this week. Not my usual colors but I love to be challenged ;-) and I had so much fun in creating this layout. It`s not only the colors but also the size that is different today ;-)....
Anyway, this is my take on TCR Palette #90.....
  • I used Echo Park "Be Mine" collection.
  • The matting you see behind the photo is actually white card stock which I masked using a doily die-cut paper. Here I used Glimmer Mist (Graphite) for the masking....
  • The beautiful butterflies are from Imaginarium Designs. They were covered with Martha Stewart`s micro beads. Then I added some Stickles.
  • TIP: I wanted to give you tip that Imaginarium Designs is available to buy in The Netherlands....YAY!!!!
  • Where?  - In "Scrapdelight" scrapbook store of course!
  • You can also find the Micro Beads from Martha Stewart in "Scrapdelight" scrapbook store!

  • The black flourish is from Prima Marketing. I added glitter sand and Micro Beads to the stars....

  • I also added ordinary beads to the grey flowers.
  • BTW, the grey flowers were initially white but I use Glimmer Mist (Graphite) to color them......

Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit on my blog today and got inspired. It`s the busiest time of the year but I hope to see you playing along this week at The Color Room.
Have a beautiful day and wishing you Happy Holidays!

Hand-stamped accents ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
Today I`ll share with you a few hand-made tags I made for Webster`s Pages.
I used the awesome unmounted Webster`s stamps  and to be more precise I used:

I also used:
These tags are so easy to make and such a fast solution for your Christsmas presents or simply a hand-made embellishment for all your projects.
All you have to do here is  TO STAMP and/or CUT OUT........The easiest thing in the world ;-)
Making my own embellishments by stamping them and then cutting them out is something I`m doing on my projects for a long time and I just LOVE it! I also love making my background by stamping.
If you noticed here and on my previous projects I don`t always use one color on the stamp. I`m mixing colors and then I stamp.....

Did you notice how I store my unmounted stamps? I`m using a CD box to store them.....

Wishing you a wonderful day!
